I wouldn't be where I am today if I didn't wear a camera around my neck in high school.
That Canon lead to working for the Cub Reporter, which lead to writing stories, which lead to journalism major, which lead to Missouri, which lead BACK to Indiana, which lead me to Pattern, which lead me to Redwall, which turned into MilesHerndon, and then finally landed me at Lesson.ly.
Hi, I'm Eric. Nice to meet you.
Thanks to the generous people at the IRS, I had some money to spend after settling my upcoming bills, and decided to get back to where it all started. I found a guy selling a used FujiFilm X100 on Craigslist and snatched that up real quick.
It's small, fixed lens. It looks like an old film camera, but 100% digital I promise. It gets way more comments than I expected. But, it's been nice to have something to carry around that can snap pretty damn good photos. I'm still on this black & white kick. It reminds me of taking film photography class back in high school, when it was all about composition and lighting.
It's been nice. I think the product has been half decent. You tell me.
